Vanessa Kroll Bennett, co- author of This is So Awkward: Modern Puberty Explained and co-host of the This is So Awkward podcast, will be in Bronxville for an interactive conversation about puberty: how has it changed (it starts earlier and takes longer!), the brain chemistry involved, ways to effectively communicate with your tween and teen, and more.

The registration fee for the live event is $25 through Nov. 29 

and $30 the day of the event.

There is no registration fee to participate virtually, 

but a tax-deductible contribution would be welcomed.  

Proceeds will benefit the Bronxville School Foundation.

In celebration and recognition of Veterans Day, a day to honor the commitment and service of all U.S. veterans, please bring a picture of a veteran in your life today, a veteran in your family from generations past, or a famous veteran you admire to the ES Canopy.

We'll have materials to hang the pictures along the playground in a special display to thank our veterans.

What’s Happening: Story of Diwali: Learn about the festival of lights and the stories behind this ancient tradition

Dance Workshop: Get ready to groove! We’ll watch a beautiful performance followed by a teacher led workshop on some Indian dance moves that everyone can enjoy

Snacks: A traditional appetizer (samosa) and drinks will be served
